We are very excited about these Galway Transition Year students undertaking our Watersport4green project on Lough Corrib.
Wonderful video of our Corrib Beo colleagues, EcoEd4All, bringing outdoor environmental education to our Galway Schools with their Eco Advocates programme. Many of these Transition Year students will continue on to complete an EU Erasmus+ project called Watersport4green, which will involve water sampling around the Corrib Catchment and researching and disseminating their findings, together with our European Project Partners from Italy and Portugal.
Many thanks to Local Authority Waters Programme for all their support, and to Galway National Park City for kindly providing us with invaluable equipment to create additional outdoor classrooms. Finally, a huge thanks to Galway Hooker Sailing Club for their ongoing support for all of our Boathouse projects.
