First canoe outing on Lake Iseo for primary school children. After the lessons done in the classroom during the winter, they took the paddles, learned to use them thanks to the instructors of the Canottieri Sebino Lovere and guided by the teachers and our guides, they set off on an exploratory tour of the lake by collecting the water samples to be tested in the classroom.
The rowing club coaches have taught the boys the technique of paddling, the principles of safety and have provided the safety devices necessary to get the boys out in the canoe, mostly newbies to water sports.
The boys and girls of the ‘Fratelli d’Italia’ Comprehensive Institute in Costa Volpino returned to school and proceeded to analyze the water samples collected on the lake during kayak tour and to detect the presence of harmful and polluting substances, the data collected by them represents the first spring sampling of the state of health of Lake Iseo. The previous tests were done in winter.
